Search Engine Optimisation has become a hot topic again in 2020 as many businesses learn that social media may not be the best place for them to attract new customers. Apart from making sure you have a GoogleMyBusiness profile, the next step in SEO is working on what is called you “on-page” optimisation for search results.
In this 2-hour workshop you will:
1. Perform benchmarking against your competitors to see where you currently stand in the search engine results market
2. Perform key-word and key-phrase research quickly to determine what your potential customers are already searching for so you can see what you need more of on your website.
3. Apply your research to the titles and text on your web pages in order to better prepare your site for Google’s indexing
4. See what new content you can create for your website to attract even more specific searches to your pages.
5. See what roles Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google My Business play as part of your wider SEO strategy.
BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE
This workshop is hands on and interactive so bring a laptop (not a tablet) to put what you learn into action there and then!
WHO THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR
This workshop is designed for website owners who use WordPress, Wix, Joomla, Squarespace or other common content management systems to manage their own websites.
You should know how to login to the admin section of your website and know where to update your pages or menu items.
You will also be emailed before the workshop to ask for a few details about your website, what your business does, and who your main competitors are on Google so that we can prepare your free SEO health check and use those results as real world examples of what changes can be made quickly to the websites of our attendees.
