Litchfield Regional Tourism Social Media Workshop [Darwin]

January 31 @ 11:30 pm - February 1 @ 2:30 am UTC+0

A$30.00

*Please note that this event has been rescheduled to Saturday December 7*

We have an incredible region – and the Territory’s number 1 tourist attraction. So how do we make use of social media to promote our region to a wider audience; both in the Territory and beyond? And how do we make sure that we’re also promoting our own businesses in the best possible way?

Who is it for?

This workshop is designed especially for members of Litchfield Regional Tourism Association. However, it is open to small business owners who are looking to improve their social media and digital marketing by using everyday tools like a smartphone, free apps and a strategic, creative approach.

What will you learn?

  • Session 1: Choosing an objective, a target and the right network, and building the Love Litchfield brand

  • Session 2: Getting creative with your mobile phone to create great content
    – editing photos and graphics on your phone
    – taking great photos for social media
    – using Canva on your phone to add branding & photo frames to photos

  • Session 3:  Increasing your audience, your reach and your success
    – using hashtags, tagging people, organisations and our master brand
    – adding our logo to your email signature
    – featuring LRTA on your own business page on Facebook

This workshop is hosted by Dante St James, Community Trainer and Digital Marketing Associate for Facebook Australia, an advisor for the  Australian Small Business Advisory Serivces (ASBAS) Digital Solutions program, Head of Digital at Treeti Business Solutions and the Founder of Clickstarter.
