Cyber Security Readiness for Government & Defence Contracting [Darwin]
February 24 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm UTC+9.5A$30.00
This is a repeat of the same workshop in early February. With over $4 billion lost to cybercrime each year in Australia, it is now a major factor in the selection of contractors for Territory, Commonwealth and Defence work. And while a solid “Essential 8” framework has been promoted by government, how can a small business ensure that they are ready?
In this 2-hour workshop you will learn about:
1. The requirements for working with Defence, NT Government and outsourced Primes
2. The various compliance frameworks, inclulding ASD Essential 8, ASD Top 4, CREST 5, ISO2700 family, and best practices in general
3. The most common ways the bad guys get in, and what can stop them
4. Coming up with a plan to get cyber ready, and how you can access grants and subsidised assistance
